U.S. warm to proposed increased air competition

Montreal, Que.-based Air Canada has offered a proposal for increasing competition between Canadian and U.S. airlines. Air Canada's proposal, which is being reviewed by the Canadian government and has found support among rivals United Airlines and American Airlines, focuses on the liberalization of air competition.
