Des Moines NAACP sends clear message to Clarence Thomas
Article Abstract:
The African American community in the United States has shown considerable dissatisfaction with U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. Larry W. Carter, the immediate past president of NAACP, Des Moines, Iowa Branch, launched a protest against Thomas who has been accused of taking steps which are against the efforts of those trying to secure civil rights. To solve the problems of African Americans a healthy and open debate is necessary, and many feel that Thomas is ignoring the issue.
