To avoid cold peace, West should distance itself from Yeltsin

Western countries can help institute real and lasting peace in Russia and the rest of the world if they know how to control the autocratic tendencies of Pres. Boris Yeltsin and his cronies. The path to genuine democracy in Russia begins when the West learns to make reasonable deals with Yeltsin.
