Article Abstract:
New digital typefaces work in well with the new aesthetic environmental surrounding type in general. The multiplying number of typeface options underscore the importance of type, which is now starting to be free from meaning in experimental designs, where individual letters can be displayed by themselves as images. Type is also used to reflect other textual media, including neon road signage, rubber stamps, facsimiles, bar coding, license plates, and scribbling.
