Domestic spat
Article Abstract:
The UK government is calling on the county council in West Sussex, England, to increase the number of new homes built in the county by a further 12,800, in addition to the current allocation of 41,400 homes. Research commissioned by the council indicates that there is not sufficient land to sustain this level of development. Some observers believe that there are difficulties associated with making changes to existing settlements, while the Council for the Protection of Rural England is opposed to the creation of new villages.
