Article Abstract:
Ohio has enjoyed considerable success in attracting multinational corporations. Since 1989, more foreign investments flowed into Ohio than 33 other states combined. Total foreign investment has reached $29 billion from over 800 multinational firms. These investments have also generated 504,000 new jobs which reduced unemployment to its lowest levels since the 1970s. The factors attracting multinationals to Ohio are its location, acess to key markets, skilled labor force and incentives.
