Article Abstract:
The demand for distribution and industrial buildings around Bristol, England, has increased although some speculative buildings remain unlet. The north and south of Bristol are increasingly being sought by industrial developers since the opening of the Second Severn Crossing. The completion of the 25 million pounds sterling link road to the M5 has increased demand for many locations in Somerset. Lidl is planning to build a 300,000 sq ft office and distribution centre on the 57 acre Locking Castle Business Park. Space at Weston Super Mare, England is also at a premium.

Land rush
Article Abstract:
It is likely that a shortage of industrial property will soon emerge in Hampshire, England. Almost all the secondhand accommodation in Southampton, England, and nearby towns has been taken up, and there is already a lack of new space in prime locations. Demand has been rising dramatically, but developers have still been unwilling to develop speculatively, partly because of difficulties in obtaining funding. The only speculative development in Southampton is City Estate's Chandler's Park at Chandler's Ford.
