New-wave schemes
Article Abstract:
Many new retail and leisure developments have been proposed for the centre of Bournemouth, England. The two main schemes are Dawa Bournemouth's 9,290 sq mt development on the former bus station site on Exeter Road and Bournemouth Metropolis's Parkway Plaza scheme on Avenue Road. Both plans include a mix of retail and leisure facilities and 10-screen multiplexes. Only one will be approved, as Bournemouth will not be able to support them both.
