Where the harp is
Article Abstract:
The design of the Guinness Business Park, West London, England, has been criticised for being too complex. But Guinness PLC wanted its headquarters building and the other buildings on the site to be in a high quality environment. The park is eight miles from Heathrow Airport and six miles from the West End of London. Some 30 million pounds sterling is planned to be spent on improving transportation in the area. A grant of 12 million pounds sterling has come from the Single Regeneration Budget. The venture will be undertaken by Guinness and London and Regional Properties.

The sales pitch
Article Abstract:
It is becoming increasingly common in both the UK and Europe for football clubs constructing new facilities or renovating existing facilities to seek to combine football with other activities. In this way, the facilities can be used more extensively. Chelsea Village, for example, has hotel rooms, restaurants and offices, while the new Madejski Stadium in Reading, England, will have a conference centre and exhibition hall, along with a 2,000-space car park.
