David Toguri
Article Abstract:
Director, choreographer and dancer David Toguri trained with Boris Vorkoff in Toronto, Canada, and first came to public attention in Rodgers and Hammerstein's 'Flower Drum Song.' He first appeared in the West End of London, England, in 1960. He opened in 'Charlie Girl' in 1965, and this production sparked off his career in choreography. His successes included the Richard Eyre production of 'Guys and Dolls' at the National Theatre in London, England, in 1982.

Anthony Shaffer
Article Abstract:
Playwright, screenwriter and barrister Anthony Shaffer was born in Liverpool, England, in 1926. He studied Law at Trinity College, Cambridge, England, and then practised as a barrister. His first theatrical success was 'Five Finger Exercise' in 1958.

B.A. Young

Journalist, critic and writer B.A. Young was born in London, England, in 1912. He joined the Army in 1930 but turned to journalism in 1943, initially with Amalgamated Press. He became Assistant Editor of Punch in 1949 and later Literary Editor.
