Does your office make you sick?
Article Abstract:
Many managers in the UK still refuse to recognise the existence of Sick Building Syndrome (SBS). This is because SBS manifests itself in many different forms and is easy to dismiss by those who are not aware of how serious it can be. However, experts now warn that employers should begin taking SBS very seriously, especially as SBS sufferers are now beginning to take legal action. SBS could be avoided by designing offices around courtyard gardens and ensuring that employees have control over their surroundings.

One man's revival of ancient English rites
Article Abstract:
The Norman parish church at Dode, near Gillingham, Kent, has been carefully renovated by chartered surveyor Douglas Chapman, who purchased it from the local Catholic diocese in 1992. The church, which was consecrated 900 years, now closely resembles how it would have appeared originally. It has a very peaceful atmosphere, and offers great harmony with nature and an ancient way of life.
