In death as in life, few agree on Tiny
Article Abstract:
Many tributes have been paid to businessman Tiny Rowland, who has died from skin cancer at the age of 80. South African President Nelson Mandela stated that Rowland made a significant contribution to both South Africa and Africa as a whole. However, Rowland's critics have claimed that he put himself first and did not hesitate to hurt people. One of his most controversial business ventures was his attempt to gain control of Harrods, bringing him into conflict with Mohamed Al Fayed, a former associate.
