Marius Goring

Actor, manager and director Marius Goring was educated at Cambridge, England, and at the universities of Frankfurt, Germany, Munich, Germany, Vienna, Austria, and Paris, France. He studied under Harcourt Williams and at the Old Vic dramatic school between 1929 and 1932. He made his first professional appearance in 1927, and in 1932 joined the Old Vic. One of his best screen performances was in the 1948 film 'Mr Perrin and Mr Traill.'

Victor Mature

Actor Victor Mature began his career in acting as a student actor at the Pasadena Playhouse. He appeared in over 60 plays before gaining a leading role in Ben Hecht's 'To Quito and Back.' He appeared in the 1941 Broadway musical 'Lady in the Dark,' and in the same year played opposite Betty Grable in Bruce Humberstone's 'I Wake Up Screaming.' His best remembered role came in 1949 in Cecil B. DeMille's 'Samson and Delilah.'

John Derek

Actor and film director Derek Harris, known as John Derek, won a contract from producer David Selznick as a teenager. He appeared in Nicholas Ray's 'Knock on Any Door' in 1949, and this led to him being cast in Robert Rossen's 'All The King's Men.' He gained a contract with Columbia, and appeared in a number of popular but routine adventure films. His work as a director included the 1964 film 'Nightmare in the Sun.'
