Oh what a circus, oh what a show
Article Abstract:
The performers in the New Millennium Experience Show, which will take place inside the Millennium Dome at Greenwich, London, England, will tell a simple story using the language of emotion, according to architect Mark Fisher, who is the show's creative director. The performers will act as stewards before each 20-minute show. The show, which will be performed six times a day, will probably attract an average audience of around 5,000. Fisher is keen to emphasize that the show will not be at all like a circus.

Behind the scenes at the British Museum
Article Abstract:
The use of French limestone in the rebuilding of the South Portico within the historic Great Court at the British Museum in London, England, is perfectly legal, according to architect Norman Foster. English Heritage is objecting to the use of French limestone, stating that Foster should have used Portland stone instead. Foster feels that there is no difference between the two stones, and points out that using French limestone will produce a saving of at least 250,000 pounds sterling.

Back to the drawing board (again and again)
Article Abstract:
It is important for architecture to evolve with users' needs, according to architect Cedric Price. He feels that architects must recognize that time present has no length as a line, being merely the difference between two points. He does not feel that buildings should be designed to last for ever, and this is why he puts a sell-by date on all his buildings. He places strong emphasis on the need for flexibility and mobility.
