Paradise Lost
Article Abstract:
Elderly Jamaican-born people returning to the island in search of their childhood haunts after having lived abroad for many years are being targeted by criminals. Indeed, there have been nine murders of returnees since the beginning of 1998, and others have been robbed. The returnees are often isolated and vulnerable, as they reject the uptown Kingston, Jamaica, area, where there is a high-profile security presence, in favour of their childhood villages, where they may have few friends or relatives left. Some observers believe that returnees are being targeted because they appear to be wealthy.

Steffi
Article Abstract:
Steffi Graf remains an extremely strong force in women's tennis, even though she has now reached 30. Some observers had forecast that she would begin to fade into obscurity, and Graf herself stated in 1988 that she would not still be on the tour at 30. However, she recently won her 22nd Grand Slam tournament, and continues to be one of the highest-earning female tennis players. She has been exposed to detailed scrutiny, but remains something of an enigma.
