How to save as you study
Article Abstract:
Financial advice for a couple involved in studying has been provided by Whitechurch Securities' Tim Cockerill. The husband will seek work in summer 2000 when he completes his course, and the wife then starts to study for a Masters degree. The couple have 170,000 pounds sterling in a post office account, as well as other, smaller, amounts saved elsewhere. They need to consider security, since they wish to purchase a home. A building society can be used for 80,000 pounds due to the security it offers, with income bonds, with-profit bonds, and 20,000 pounds worth of equity investments accounting for the remainder.
