Pregnant mornings: horror of the full Bronte
Article Abstract:
Pregnancy sickness afflicts more than 80% of women to some extent, and causes around 8.5 million working days to be lost each year in the UK. However, medical professionals do not tend to take it very seriously, and generally believe that there is no real treatment. A small number of women are extremely badly affected by pregnancy sickness, and require intravenous treatment to correct their fluid and electrolyte balance. Research into possible treatments for less severe pregnancy sickness is being hampered by the fact that very little is known about what causes it.

Trust me ...
Article Abstract:
Money is a key cause of friction in many relationships, especially as gender comes to play a more significant role in couples' approaches to handling money. Until recently, the man would take control of all financial dealings, but now more women are working and are earning the same as men. Conflict over money can also be a reflection of deeper and more complex psychological difficulties. Some couples prefer to pool their financial resources, while others never trust each other enough to take this step.

If the face fits: do you have to look the part to get ahead?
Article Abstract:
It is widely assumed that appearance has no impact on career success. This is in fact a misguided view, as research indicates that people frequently make judgments based on physical characteristics. Interviewers tend to be influenced by first impressions, even if they are trained to look beyond appearance. There is also evidence to suggest that good-looking people are more productive. It is becoming increasingly common for people to undergo cosmetic surgery in order to further their career.
