Professor W.H. Morris-Jones
Article Abstract:
Political scientist Wyndraeth Morris-Jones was born in Carmarthen, Wales, but his family moved to London, England, while he was still very young. He studied at University College School in Hampstead and, from the age of 17, at the London School of Economics. He undertook postgraduate work before moving to Christ's College, Cambridge, England, in 1940. He served in India during the second world war, and in 1946 returned to the London School of Economics as a teacher in the Government department, specializing in India and political theory. He was the first Professor of Political Theory and Institutions at Durham University, England.

Professor T.V. Sathyamurthy
Article Abstract:
Political scientist Tennalur Vengara Sathyamurthy studied at the Benares Hindu University. He moved to the American mid-west in the 1950s to study politics, gaining a doctorate in social sciences at the University of Illinois. He worked at the University of Singapore and at Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda, and in 1967 moved to the UK. He held various academic posts at the University of York, England, but retained contacts across the world.
