Saint Michael's most coveted
Article Abstract:
UK retail chain Marks and Spencer has seen extremely strong demand for its velvet shirts. These were launched in four colours in winter 1995, and the range has now been expanded with a devore version. Women are finding that these shirts are extremely versatile, wash well and look glamorous. Other companies are now trying to emulate Marks and Spencer's success by launching their own velvet shirts. Some women are now becoming reluctant to wear their Marks and Spencer velvet shirt because so many other women own one.

Suits and blazers cut by lasers
Article Abstract:
Men who wish to dress very smartly for work but cannot afford a tailor-made suit may wish to consider a semi-bespoke suit. This service, offered by a number of tailoring companies in the UK, involves using a Mintel computer system to transfer exact dimensions into a laser-cut suit. The tailor oversees the final fitting. The suits cost between 450 pounds sterling and 550 pounds sterling, almost half the price of a fully tailor-made suit.
