Serb juggernaut lays waste a nation
Article Abstract:
Tanks and artillery of the Serbian regular army are leading the destruction of ethnic Albanian towns and villages in Kosovo, Yugoslavia, an action which is driving the Albanians out of Kosovo in large numbers. It is becoming clear that large-scale ethnic cleansing is taking place in the largest urban centres, some of which are now totally deserted. The Serb forces have particularly targeted intellectuals, professionals, political leaders and young men, many of whom are now missing.

Like an oil painting of hell - and still the dispossessed flood in
Article Abstract:
As many as 250,000 ethnic Albanians have fled Kosovo, Yugoslavia, since Nato launched air attacks on Mar 24, 1999. They have been stripped of their nationality and their citizenship, and have lost almost all their belongings. Many have reached Macedonia, where they are not being warmly received and must tolerate extremely primitive conditions. So far, aid agencies have done little to address the plight of these refugees, who are widely disliked in the entire Balkan region.
