Small is still beautiful for biotech companies coming to market
Article Abstract:
There are around 700 European bioscience companies planning to raise public money in the period to 2007, according to Michael Ward, editor of biotechnology newsletter 'BioBusiness.' In the UK, these companies include Oxford Glycosciences, Powderject and Galen. There is also a growing trend towards US-listed biotechnology companies seeking a secondary quotation on European markets. Biotechnology shares can still be volatile, as shown by Celltech's recent experiences, but the sector is regarded as having good long-term prospects.

The roosters are coming
Article Abstract:
There have been very mixed reactions to the three one-act ballets staged recently in Russia by the Rambert Dance Company. Some observers feel that the performances demonstrated a very high level of professionalism, while others were very dismissive. There was a cautious reaction from ballet critics in St Petersburg, in contrast with a generally very warm reaction from audiences. In general, an innovative approach was welcomed, especially at the Mariinsky in St Petersburg.
