Still fighting for her place
Article Abstract:
There are still many examples of misogyny in the UK, even though in superficial terms progress seems to be being made towards greater equality between men and women. Sexism remains rife in many working environments, particularly sport, where women are routinely seen as different. Women cannot take it for granted that their right to be treated on equal terms with men will be upheld. They cannot even assume that everybody believes that it is desirable for them to be treated on equal terms.
