Walter Bor
Article Abstract:
Architect and planner Walter Bor was born in Vienna, Austria, but grew up in Prague, Czech Republic. He graduated with a Dipl Ing from Prague University in 1939, and managed with difficulty to escape from the Czech Republic. He studied at the Bartlett School of Architecture at University College London, but in 1944 returned to Prague to complete his studies. He graduated from University College London's planning course in 1946, and became an architect planner at the London County Council Architects' Dept in 1947. He was appointed the first City Planning Officer in Liverpool, England, in 1962.

Richard Seifert
Article Abstract:
Architect Richard Seifert was born in 1910. He started his practice in London, England, following his graduation in 1934. He served as an officer in the Royal Engineers during the second world war.

Roderick Gradidge

Architect Roderick Gradidge was born in Old Hunstanton, England, in 1929. He studied at the Architectural Association, and designed petrol filling stations before moving to brewing firm Ind Coope.
