Supermodel Naomi Campbell has gained a reputation for being arrogant, insecure and extremely unpunctual. She does not seem to be content with simply being a supermodel, even though she is now earning more than 1 million pounds sterling a year. She continues to seek recognition, and this has prompted a number of unsuccessful ventures, including the release of a rock music album. It is possible that she may eventually fall from favour, being overshadowed by the career of her boyfriend, Spanish dancer Joaquin Cortes.

Auction of Goya letter highlights mystery of Spain's royal treasures

Article Abstract:

Experts on Spanish artist Francisco de Goya have expressed great concern about the way in which the Spanish authorities have treated documents and other treasures from royal archives. They are particularly worried about the sale at auction by Sotheby's of a letter written by Goya to a minister at the Spanish court in 1801, which they regard as rare and important. This letter was also sold privately in 1991, but the Spanish authorities took no action to prevent the sale.
