Astronomers watch the stars come out in Berkeley
Article Abstract:
Observations discussed at the Jun 1993 meeting of the American Astronomical Society included a shift in taxonomy by supernova 1993J, blue stars in the center of globular cluster M15, the slowing of the expansion of the universe and bright objects at the edges of the universe.

NASA stakes its reputation on fix for Hubble Telescope
Article Abstract:
NASA is planning a $550 million effort to repair the $1.5 billion Hubble Space Telescope, which failed to work properly because of a misshapen mirror. The repair effort is described.
