How to succeed in business
Article Abstract:
Consulting engineers describe their strategies for continuing business success. Many consulting engineers are finding new markets. GZA GeoEnvironmental Technologies Inc., for example, has moved from geotechnical work to geoenvironmental projects, and Edwards and Kelcey Inc. has moved from transportation work to communications. Firms are also developing new strategic relationships. STV's Strategic Partners has a range of partners with whom it will take an equity share in its design/build/operate airports, and Camp Dresser McKee Inc. is one of the many firms developing one-stop business arrangements.
