Nothing either good or bad: industrial espionage and technology transfer
Article Abstract:
Firms seeking to increase competitiveness through innovation must first acquire external information. Such external information may be appropriated from personal and informal sources. With the prevailing attitude against industrial espionage as a means for technology transfer, legitimate and accepted means of information exchange may also be hampered. Since deterrence of industrial espionage can also impede information flow through personal and informal networks, innovations which can arise from such information will also be blocked.

Measurement and evaluation of technology transfer: review of technology transfer mechanisms and indicators
Article Abstract:
The changes in the dynamics of technological innovations in various industries underscore the need for new technology transfer policies that will promote technological and economic growth. Such policies should be based on a new definition of technology transfer which identifies the differences between process and input-output indicators. More sophisticated simulation techniques should also be developed to support the development of these technology transfer policies.

Technological management and transfer of technology
Article Abstract:
Spain's economic recovery underscores the need for various Spanish industries to develop a technology transfer protocol that will allow them to pursue a common goal and promote technological innovations. This policy should take into account the different factors that hinder efficient technology transfer between the industries and the academic community. It should also consider the impact of technology transfer on the welfare of society.
