Assessing the role of spatial analysis in urban geography in the 1960s
Article Abstract:
The author uses content analysis to examine articles published in geography journals during the 1960s. While the period is considered to be the zenith of quantitative and theoretical development in the field, most of the articles analyzed exhibited a pre-1958 research methodology.
