Facilitation in repeated trait judgements: implications for the structure of trait concepts
Article Abstract:
Initial trait judgement may facilitate later trait judgement through general practice effect, short-term specific facilitation effect and long-term specific facilitation effect. Three related studies show that practice at the judgement task and absence of lag between two judgements accelerates later trait judgement. Lag between judgements reduces facilitation effect, when the antonym of a trait intervenes between two judgements. However, the lag fails to influence if the synonym of a trait intervenes between judgements.

Limiting the spread of spontaneous trait transference
Article Abstract:
The current research is about the disruption of the formation of informant-trait associations, caused by spontaneous trait transference (STT) due to the presence of the target of description. The findings show that when participants' attention is focused on the subject of trait implicative descriptions, associations are not reliably formed between those present at the time of encoding and the implied traits.

An experiment that was undertaken to check the accessibility of a primed construct measured with both lexical decision and impression formation procedures is discussed. The results suggested that task fulfillment instigates inhibition of goal related constructs.
Article Abstract:
Two studies that were carried out to examine whether trait expectancies and stereotype expectancies affected memory for expectancy-related behavior in the same way is discussed. The results showed that both trait expectancies and stereotype expectancies when activated in the same way had similar effects on recall.
