Future outlook for child protection policies in Europe
Article Abstract:
A pan-European child protection policy needs to use the present to predict the future and to transform these predictions into actions. It must seek the harmonization of child protection policies and practices of all countries throughout the region, while encouraging nations to meet standards. Coordination, cooperation and communication between professionals involved with children should be promoted and all ideological and professional differences bridged to promote the interests of Europe's children.

Evaluating risk assessment implementation in child protection: issues for consideration
Article Abstract:
Child Protective Services need to study the effects of implementing data on risk evaluation in child abuse, to make their services more relevant. Risk assessment models should be examined for objectivity in result interpretation and data analysis. The implementation process and efficiency of the program must be evaluated before being applied in child protection services.
