How mood turns on language
Article Abstract:
The findings of four studies that investigated the hypothesis that positive mood induces a global processing style and gives rise to the use of more linguistic expressions in the description of social events are discussed. It is concluded that mood-induced processing differences are reflected in the words that are chosen to describe social events.

Backward affective priming: Even when the prime is late, people still evaluate
Article Abstract:
A study examines whether affective stimuli can prime congruent evaluations if they succeed the target within a short time interval, that is, backward affective priming. Results from three experiments demonstrate that backward affective priming is a robust phenomenon that might reflect a rapid and continuous evaluation of environmental stimuli.
