Comparing the behaviors and social environments of offending and non-offending African-American adolescents
Article Abstract:
African-American juvenile males (ages 13-17), 106 in detention and 106 not in detention, were interviewed. Factors increasing the likelihood of juvenile arrest and detention were: drinking, fighting, school suspension, school expulsion, breaking into property, and beiing held back in school.

Factor-analysis of the MCMI-III on an offender population
Article Abstract:
The Millon Clinical Multiaxial Inventory model is evaluated, focusing on its three psychometric factors which provide psychological assessments of offenders. Explanations of these factors, internalizing, acting out, and self-absorption, are also included.
