North African immigrants in Europe and political violence
Article Abstract:
The involvement of North Africans in radical activities or radical politics of Europe remains low although they continued to fight their cause from these safe lands which also gave them opportunity for freedom of expression. North African states commit widespread injustice by pursuing policies that exclude the vast majority of their citizens from participating in political, economic or cultural life, and inability to initiate changes has fueled Islamist politics across the region.

Anatomy of the Salafi movement
Article Abstract:
The Salafi movement represents a diverse community that share a puritanical approach to the religion intended to eschew religious innovation by strictly replicating the model of the Prophet Muhammad. They are united by a common religious creed, which provides principles and a method for applying religious beliefs to contemporary issues and problems and revolves around strict adherence to the concept of tawhid and ardent rejection of a role for human reason, logic, and desire.

A genealogy of radical Islam
Article Abstract:
The development of jihadi thought is characterized by the erosion of critical constraints used to limit warfare and violence in classical Islam. It is indicated that the jihadis will attack increasingly wider categories of people. More attacks might also be expected against others in the Sunni community, in addition to state officials and government personnel.
