Psychodynamic psychotherapy: An effectiveness study
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to assess the effectiveness of psychodynamic psychotherapy on patients being treated for mental illness and to see which variables appear to affect the outcome of the therapy. The findings show that patients treated with psychodynamic psychotherapy make both clinically and statistically improved change with the first three months proving to be crucial for treatment, and findings also suggest a common course of recovery across a large number of variables.
