Soviet military sociology: History and present day
Article Abstract:
The revival of social and political thought in the Soviet Union after the Twentieth Congress of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union [CPSU] in 1956 and the beginning of processes of the institutionalization of Soviet sociological science made it possible for military sociology to be revived in Russia. The revival of military sociology, as was the case of sociology as a whole, took place in the form of the emergence of military sociology research of a purely applied character.
