The discrimination of relative frequency by pigeons
Article Abstract:
Passive decay and residual salience processes determine the least frequent stimulus controlled behavior of pigeons in a least frequent discrimination task. The overall proportion of correct choices is always above chance levels, but its likelihood decreases with the serial position of the correct stimulus. This negative recency effect decreases when the last three stimuli of the sample are restricted to be one of each kind. The serial position of the correct stimulus fails to affect the probability of a correct choice under certain conditions.

The differentiation of response numerosities in the pigeon
Article Abstract:
Two experiments to examine the pigeon's differentiation response patterns when the pecking key was changed from left key to the right key are conducted. Based on the results a mathematical model for differentiation of response numerosity in Fixed Consecutive Number schedules is proposed.

How pigeons discriminate the relative frequency of events
Article Abstract:
Pigeons' ability to count has been researched. The mathematical model that assumed the influence of a sample stimulus on choice, rather than the use of mental arithmetic, more closely fit the experimental results.

An experiment that was undertaken to check the accessibility of a primed construct measured with both lexical decision and impression formation procedures is discussed. The results suggested that task fulfillment instigates inhibition of goal related constructs.
