Conservation Deficits for the Continental United States: an Ecosystem Gap Analysis
Article Abstract:
Ecoregional data from the Nature Conservancy and land-cover types from the National Land Cover Data Set are combined and analyzed to determine the status of conservation management at the continental level. Findings show that size and diversity of the nation's conservation estate needs to be addressed.
