Analysis of the DNA sequence and duplication history of human chromosome 15
Article Abstract:
A detailed analysis of the duplication structure of the chromosome 15, which is one of seven human chromosomes with a high rate of segmental duplication, is presented. It demonstrates that some remaining gap in the genome sequence is probably due to structural polymorphisms between haplotypes, which might explain a significant fraction of the gaps remaining in the human genome.

The DNA sequence, annotation and analysis of human chromosome 3
Article Abstract:
The sequencing and analysis of human chromosome 3 is described which is one of the largest human chromosomes, comprising of four contigs, one of which represents the longest unbroken stretch of finished DNA sequence. The chromosome is remarkable in having the lowest rate of segmental duplication in the genome.
