Future Ecosystem Services in a Southern African River Basin: a Scenario Planning Approach to Uncertainty
Article Abstract:
Scenarios in a subglobal component of the Millennium Ecosystem Assessment are used to examine four potential futures for a river basin in South Africa. Scenario planning engages decision makers and is shown to be a key component of effective conservation management development.
