Lost and found dark matter in elliptical galaxies
Article Abstract:
A study is conducted to show that the low-velocities are infact compatible with galaxy formation in dark-matter haloes. It is found that the stellar orbits in the outer regions of the resulting elliptical are very elongated and these elongated orbits, combined with steeply falling density profile of the observed tracers, explain the observed velocities even in the presence of large amounts of dark matter.

Article Abstract:
Near-infrared surveys have shown many faint galaxies are red in their optical to near-infrared colours. This may arise due to the absence of recently formed stars or because the large amount of dust in the galaxies reddens the light. The detection of continuum emission from warm dust in HR10, one of the reddest galaxies known, shows that it is a dusty galaxy undergoing massive-star formation.
