Article Abstract:
Evidence of a burst of acceleration of cosmic rays that occurred 10,000 years ago in the Milky Way is described. HESS telescopes has a high level of precision and one of the first targets of analysis is the center of the Milky Way which harbors a number of potential gamma-ray sources, including a supermassive black hole, remnants of supernova explosions and dark-matter particles.

Supernovae brought to light
Article Abstract:
Stellar explosions, Supernovae, affect the cosmos in the form of supernovae remnants (SNRs) in the interstellar gas. Apart from affecting the cosmology they affect the ozone layer resulting in the flux of highly energetic cosmic rays, increased radiation, probable climate change that affects the global warming and science and scientific culture.

Revealing flares
Article Abstract:
Astronomers viewing transient phenomena in the sky are often obstructed by similar bursts closer to earth. The Large Synoptic Survey Telescope is a new tool, which is capable of separating distant high-energy events from blue flares on nearby stars by identifying the host star, which would emit light at a near-infra-red wavelength.
