Lockheed: Agusta/Westland denies it sells products to Iran

Article Abstract:

The AgustaWestland CEO, Giuseppe Orsi, has stated that the Italian-United Kingdom helicopter AgustaWestland does not intend to sell helicopters or helicopter parts to Iran. Lockheed Martin Corp. is the lead contractor for the VXX Marine One presidential transport helicopter program to provide the Navy with a variant of the AgustaWestland European military helicopter EH101 and the Marine One version will be called as US101.

The industrial consortium led by Lockheed Martin Corp., announced that twenty additional companies in three Mid-Atlantic States would supply components for its US101 candidate as the next-generation presidential transport helicopter. Lists of twenty additional Mid-Atlantic companies that would supply components for the US101 helicopter are mentioned.
