Work/life: it's all about time
Article Abstract:
Flexible working hours can significantly contribute to better productivity. Employers can expect higher work output from their employees if the latter are given alternative work arrangements that are best suited for their lifestyles. Different employees have different peak hours and if they are given the opportunity to adjust their work according to their work and life needs, work-related stress and anxiety can be greatly reduced. Examples of work/life programs adopted by selected companies that drive business results and increase employee satisfaction are discussed.

Reinventing employee services delivery - on the road to virtual human resources
Article Abstract:
The manner by which human resource services are being delivered has been undergoing major evolutions, underscored by an apparent shift from human resource administration to human resource strategy. Such changes have given rise to trends that could prove a challenge to human resources, including multiple sources of service delivery. To better streamline the delivery of services, a service delivery model of 'virtual human resources' could be utilized.
