Congress passed a provision in February 2003 that prohibits the U.S. Treasury from using fiscal 2003 funds to put in place its proposed rule defining brokerage and management as financial services. The move is a significant feat for realtors as they continue to pressure Congress to pass the Community Choice in Real Estate Act.
