High street values to be hit as shoppers buy from home
Article Abstract:
It seems likely that the rapid expansion in Internet shopping will take sales away from traditional store-based retailers. This will in turn cut the underlying value of retail property. Leading retailers in the UK are already aware of this risk, and are seeking to establish a presence in Internet retailing.
