Frank Wootton
Article Abstract:
Artist Frank Wootton gained a scholarship to the School of Art in Eastbourne, England, at the age of 14. He won a travelling scholarship, through which he became involved in painting murals in Germany. On his return, he became a commercial artist. He worked on a freelance basis during the 1930s, and his first book, 'How to Draw Aircraft,' was published in 1936. He was founder-president of the Guild of Aviation Artists.

Michael Chase
Article Abstract:
Gallery director and artist Michael Chase was born in London, England, in 1915. He trained as a hotelier before joining the Army at the beginning of the second world war. He then joined Lawrence Rowley's interior design firm and ran the Zwemmer Gallery from 1954 until 1965.
