Spark of genius
Article Abstract:
Nikola Tesler was a pioneer in electrical science who invented a number of devices such as the speedometer and AC power, as well as advancing knowledge about electricity supply. He is not well-known despite the importance of his work. He was born in 1856 in Serbia, and died in 1943. He made a number of predictions about the future which were not taken seriously, though many turned out to be true. He was not skilled in presenting his ideas, and did not always complete projects, but many of his ideas are only truly appreciated by researchers in the 1990s.
