The Museum of Modern Art in Oxford, England, is currently staging an exhibition entitled 'Notorious: Alfred Hitchcock and Contemporary Art.' This exhibition covers around 12 bodies of work, mainly video and photographs. Contributors include John Baldessari, Cindy Sherman and Atom Egoyan. The most attractive element is the six 'Phoenix Tapes,' short videos by Christoph Girardet and Matthias Muller. These feature sequences of recurring motifs in Hitchcock's work.
