Integrating economic dualism and labour market segmentation: the effects of race, gender, and structural location on earnings, 1974-2000
Article Abstract:
It is claimed that despite contemporary economic shifts, differential labor and employer power continues to predict their rewards, beyond the effects of gender, race, and human capital. The distribution of jobs in each of four categories between 1974 and 2000 is examined and observed that losses and gains categories are unevenly distributed by race and gender.
