Multiple succession and land division on family farms in the South East of England: A counterbalance to agricultural concentration?
Article Abstract:
The processes, which lead to the division of large farms through succession, are investigated along with its effects on the development of British agriculture. While the farm surveyed in the study were large and thus theoretically more likely to be able to divide, there was no substantial evidence to support farm size as a limiting factor, suggesting that multiple succession as a process might be more widespread.

Post-productivism and rural land use: cul de sac or challenge for theorization?
Article Abstract:
The essential characteristics of post-productivism are identified in an examination of the debate on the concept and the objections that have been leveled against it. It is argued that in spite of the word being used too widely and too loosely, the concept of post-productivism should not be abandoned and an attempt is made to sharpen the meaning of post-productivism and to create a more focused definition of it.
